Suzuki Motorcycles India Limited has introduced a special edition version of their 124cc automatic scooter, Access. Called Access Special Edition, the new Suzuki scooter features many exciting features, including ‘Being Human’ logo in the front. Being Human is a NGO of Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who is the brand ambassador of Suzuki Motorcycles in India.
Suzuki Access Special Edition features the same engine as that of the normal version. A 124cc air-cooled 4 stroke petrol motor offering 8.58 bhp max power at 7000 rpm and 9.8 Nm of peak torque at 5000 rpm. Transmission is taken care by an automatic CVT gearbox while starter system is both, self and kick. It offers a mileage of 51 kmpl on highway and 42 kmpl in city. Offered in a choice of five colors, Candy Red, Pearl White, Metallic Silver, Metallic Grey, and Pearl Black, the special edition Being Human version will be offered in just one color option, Pearl White.
Changes that include in the new special edition Access are new leather seat, chrome rear-view mirrors, chrome grab rail, Being Human logo in the front and Apna Way of Life logo on the side. Apart from this, Suzuki Motorcycles will also sell Being Human merchandise at their dealerships.
Speaking to PTI, Atul Gupta, Executive Vice-President, Suzuki Motorcycles said, “This collaboration is rooted in our philosophy of making positive social contributions as a corporate citizen. Our 300 dealers will act as outlets for Being Human apparel and merchandise.” Suzuki India expects to sell 40,000 units of the special edition Access Being Human scooter during this festive season and aim for a turnover of Rs 3 crores.
