Dabangg 2 has taken a fantastic opening and, as the day unfolds, collections are swelling. The first-day collections will be around Rs 20-21 crore all over India, and in Mumbai, Rs 4 crore. This is a typical Salman Khan masala movie with a touch of class. Arbaaz Khan is a welcome addition to our industry as a director. He proved himself as a producer with Dabangg and now as a director with Dabangg 2.

Apart from the number of cinemas, the film has got a greater number of shows compared to other films, with every multiplex running more than 16 shows in our territory. Dabangg 2 will run house full over the weekend and on Monday and Tuesday too as the Christmas vacation is underway. The movie will earn around Rs 1.3 crore in East Punjab.

In Bihar, the film has released at 140 cinemas. Audiences loved Dabangg in 2010 and hence everyone is eager to watch the second installment. And unlike many other sequels, this one has lived up to expectations. On day one, the film will earn Rs 25-30 lakh in Bihar.

Dabangg 2 is a typical Salman Khan movie and audiences are lured to the ticket windows by the very mention of his name. But according to the report, the music is not up to the mark. Other than that, the film is a complete family entertainer.

We are expecting the first day collections to be close to Rs 3 crore and all-India Rs 21 crore.
